Nanzikambe Productions

While Artistic Director of Nanzikambe, I directed four shows: The African Hamlet, African Macbeth, An African Dream and A Flea in Her Ear. All performed by and developed in collaboration with Malawian actors, and performed in English for Malawian audiences throughout Malawi - and in the case of Macbeth, also in Zimbabwe. The trio of Shakespeare plays were put into a Malawian context and the performers were keen that we re-named them to reflect that.
